The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Elizondo blocks a head kick by Lawrence.
Elizondo connects with a good right hand that stumbles Lawrence. Lawrence circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Lawrence plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Lawrence fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Elizondo manages to avoid it.
Lawrence blocks a leg kick.
And Lawrence counters with a quick kick to the body but Elizondo blocks it.
Lawrence works the jab nicely.
Elizondo fails to land with a series of punches.
Lawrence misses the jab.
Lawrence looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Elizondo ducks under a wild hook from Lawrence.
A swing and a miss from Lawrence.

Elizondo loads up on a big right hand but Lawrence slips the punch.
Lawrence is looking to counter punch.
Lawrence throws a wild body kick that Elizondo sees coming a mile off.
Nice defenses there by Elizondo.
Johnny Lawrence seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fighters circling - Elizondo throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Lawrence lands with a right, followed by a left to the temple and Elizondo goes down! The ref sends Lawrence to a neutral corner so he can begin the count. 3,4,5,6 and Elizondo is back to his feet. He seems a little groggy but the referee thinks he's OK to continue, so we're back to the action!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Lawrence fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Lawrence swings for the body but Elizondo moves out of range.
Lawrence cracks Elizondo with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Elizondo is rocked!
Elizondo tries to get into range but Lawrence steps to the side and lands a beautiful hook that drops Elizondo! He's faceplanted into the mat, ass in the air... he's out cold! That's an image he won't want to show his grandkids when he gets older! Lawrence scores the big KO victory!
