The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ponor throws a hook but Congo avoids it easily.
Congo waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Ponor.
It seemed like Ponor was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Congo swings widly with a right hand
and Ponor counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Congo thinking.
Congo catches Ponor with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

It looks like Not Ponor has been cut.
Ponor takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Congo lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Congo throws a lazy right hand but Ponor sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Ponor keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Congo looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Congo throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Ponor sees it coming and avoids it easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Ponor backs away from a small jab... but Congo lunges forward with a huge superman punch! Ponor crumples to the ground as his mouth piece is sent flying! Congo with a spectacular finish!

After the fight, Roberto Congo was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
