Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 19 - 25 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Joseph Telushikin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 24 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Cayden Abner!
The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Daniel Cesar and Alexandre Firmino.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Telushikin throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.

Telushikin gets a clinch.
Telushikin tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Telushikin as Abner tries to tie him up.
Telushikin lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.
Telushikin tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
A head punch on the inside from Telushikin fails to land.
Telushikin throws a head punch that misses.

Abner breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Telushikin scores with a kick to the midsection.
Telushikin wants to slow Abner down by chopping away at his legs.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Telushikin throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Telushikin misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Telushikin tries to clinch up.
Abner moves out of range as Telushikin throws a body kick.

Telushikin tries to clinch but Abner is having none of it.
Abner staying out of range there.
Telushikin throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Telushikin clinches with his opponent.

Abner breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Telushikin moves to clinch but Abner breaks away
and Abner counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
A bone on bone clash there as Telushikin blocks the leg kick.
Telushikin steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Abner.
A looping hook to the body misses from Telushikin. Abner does a little dance to reset his feet.
Abner lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Telushikin blocks a head kick by Abner.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Abner moves out of range of the leg kick from Telushikin.

Telushikin walks into a straight right hand and goes down! Abner rushes to a neutral corner so the count doesn't get delayed but Telushikin has made it back to his feet on 5. He's OK so we're back to the action.

It looks like Joseph Telushikin has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Telushikin instigates a clinch.
Abner blocks an uppercut.
Abner misses with a hook to the ribs.
Telushikin throws a head punch that misses.
Telushikin misses with the head strike.
Abner stalling in the clinch but Telushikin improves position.
Telushikin scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Telushikin throws a head punch that misses.
A head punch on the inside from Telushikin fails to land.
Abner looking to stall.
Telushikin letting Abner take a breather here.
Telushikin throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Abners head.
Telushikin misses with the head strike.

Abner escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Having scored a knockdown, Cayden Abner should take round 1, putting pressure on his opponene back strong in round 2.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!

Telushikin tries to clinch up but Abner circles away and keeps his distance.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Abner! But no joy.

and Abner counters with a monster hook and another for good measure! Telushikin falls to the ground, out cold! Stick some heavy metal music over the top of that clip and it's one for the highlight makers!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:22 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Cayden Abner!
Cayden Abner decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
