Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jackson Alvarez (ranked 23547 p4p, 24087 weight class) and Hans Machiels (ranked 511 p4p, 503 weight class). Alvarez comes to the cage accompanied by Juan Luis Guerra - Soldado. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alvarez feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Machielss jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Alvarez closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Machiels to the mat! Machiels manages to get full guard.
Machiels manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Alvarez manages to get himself to full guard.
