Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Menes Kai (ranked 3736 p4p, 3986 weight class) and Harun Aydin (ranked 380 p4p, 396 weight class). Kai's entrance music is The Astronaut - Jin. A fine choice. Aydin has chosen Mockingbird - Eminem as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kai throws a head kick but Aydin moves out of range.
Kai darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Aydin sizes up Kai with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Kai slips a straight right by Aydin.
Aydin has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Aydin might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Menes Kai seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Kai connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Aydin takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Kai is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.

Aydin throws a looping overhand right but Kai ducks down to avoid it.

Aydin slips under a jab from Kai.
Kai's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Aydin connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Kai scrambles back to his feet.

Kai bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Kai throws a nice inside leg kick.
Aydin tries to close the distance and clinch but Kai swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Aydin tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kai was well out of range. Poor timing from Aydin.
Aydin lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Kai ducks right into an uppercut from Aydin.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kai takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Aydin misses with a hook. Kai ducked under it nicely.

Aydin tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kai paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Aydin connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Kai momentarily.

Kai cracks Aydin with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Aydin tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Kai pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Aydin is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
