The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pending takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Pending looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Pending takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Matsunaga thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Pending if he has to take too many more of those.
Matsunaga lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Good exchange - Matsunaga coming out on top.
Pending shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
That kick from Matsunaga tenderised Pending's leg. Pending is trying to keep his angry face on.
Matsunaga connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Pending drops his hands momentarily and Matsunaga takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Pending needs to keep his hands up - Matsunaga had a free shot at his head there.
Matsunaga looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Pending walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Matsunaga uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Pending has time to react.
A head kick from Matsunaga lands but Pending takes it in his stride.
Matsunaga turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Futoshi Matsunaga seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Matsunaga is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.

Whack! Matsunaga lands a heavy head kick that drops Pending. The ref tackles Matsunaga to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Pending was done.
