The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Magero throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Gibson's waist but Gibson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Magero off to one side.
Magero moves away from the strike by Gibson.

and Gibson counters with a nice double leg into side control. Magero won't be happy with that.
Magero tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Gibson wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Magero is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Gibson is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Gibson has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Magero!

Magero won't enjoy being in this position. Gibson looking for the choke. Oh... he's slipped the arm under the neck - Magero is tapping - it's over boys! Gibson picks up the submission victory!
