The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Frank Antenori and Percy O'Donnell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mnusk uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Rex.
Mnusk misses the jab.
Rex tries to counter by clinching up but Mnusk breaks away and moves out of range.
A big right from Mnusk misses.
Mnusk works Rex's body with a nice hook.
Rex rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Mnusk moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Mnusk misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Rex.
Mnusk uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Rex.
Elo Mnusk seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mnusk throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mnusk throws a body punch but Rex moves out of range.
As Mnusk tries to get set, Rex tries to push him back and clinch up but Mnusk manages to avoid the attempt.
Rex looks to land a right hand but Mnusk moved out of range.
Rex slips a jab from Mnusk.

Mnusk lands with a shot to the body.
Mnusk misses with a lunging right hand
and Rex counters with a nice body shot.
Mnusk scores with a nice right hand.
Mnusk throws a body punch but Rex moves out of range.
Rex takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Mnusk misses with a straight right.
Mnusk throws a hook but Rex blocks it.
Rex is looking to counter the offense by Mnusk and move into the clinch.
Mnusk drops Rex with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Rex! Mnusk dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
