Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dan Catara (ranked 2971 p4p, 3950 weight class) and Trae Tricks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Catara comes to the cage accompanied by Everlong. Trae Tricks will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dan Catara!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Trae Tricks!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Frank Dennis and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Catara looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Tricks fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Catara.
Tricks is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
It looks like Dan Catara has been cut.
Tricks tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Catara throws a big counter combination but Tricks scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Tricks fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Catara looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Tricks fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Catara drops his hands momentarily and Tricks takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Tricks feints and then cracks Catara's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Catara down.
Catara forces Tricks back against the cage and clinches.
Catara avoiding damage as Tricks throws knees to the body.
Tricks lands a right hand.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Catara is pushing Tricks up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Tricks swings wildly with an uppercut but Catara uses good head movement to avoid it.

Catara jumps guard but Tricks turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Catara.
Tricks tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Catara's elbow.
Tricks misses with the head strike.
Tricks misses with a short punch on the inside.
Catara is trying to drag Tricks to the mat but Tricks just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dan Catara. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Catara blocks an uppercut.
Catara is looking for a takedown.
Catara gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Catara won't allow Tricks to sweep him here.

Catara working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Tricks doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Tricks manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Catara wriggles free and stands up.
Tricks throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Tricks lands with a right hand.
Tricks throws a sloppy body shot
and Catara connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Tricks throws a right and a left that both miss.
A big left from Tricks misses.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A jab from Tricks finds it's way through Catara's defenses.
Catara is rocked!
Catara switches off momentarily and Tricks cracks him with a monster right hand! Catara topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Tricks dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Tricks!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:11 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Trae Tricks!
