The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gordon wants to slow Dupelle down by chopping away at his legs.

Gordon scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.

Gordon tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Dupelle is trying to control Gordon's posture but Gordon avoids it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Dupelle tries to bench press Gordon off him but Gordon keeps the position.

Gordon has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Dupelle fails to land the takedown.
Gordon comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Dupelle throws a right and a left that Gordon avoids nicely.
Gordon tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Dupelle defends well and Gordon ends up having to push Dupelle into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Gordon is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Gordon shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Dupelle napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Dupelle explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!

Dupelle looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Gordon is fending him off so far but Dupelle persists. Nope, Gordon circles away and we're back to standing.

Dupelle rolls, trying to escape but Gordon keeps control of the position.
Dupelle is breathing heavily.
Gordon scores with punches to the body.

Gordon has got one arm under Dupelle's chin. This could be trouble... Dupelle trying to control the other hand but Gordon gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Dupelle has tapped out! The fight is over!
