Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Paul Lauzon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Dweller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Paul Lauzon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Mike Dweller!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Chris Edwards and Colin Fotheringham.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dweller leaves Lauzon with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Dweller gets a takedown into half guard.
Lauzon gets back to full guard.

Lauzon looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Lauzon is striking off his back. Dweller thinks nothing of it though and passes easily into half guard.
Lauzon is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Dweller prevents Lauzon from standing back up.

Lauzon is trying to maintain the position but Dweller is very close to passing his half guard.
Lauzon has a hand on Dweller's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Dweller takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!
Lauzon wants to control but Dweller is having none of it.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Dweller controlling the position easily from mount.
Lauzon wants to control but Dweller is having none of it.
Lauzon is looking to get to half guard.

Dweller sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Lauzon is wriggling around trying to escape.
Lauzon is trying to get back to his feet but can't.
Dweller controlling his opponent.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Dweller avoids the attempt from Lauzon to control.
Lauzon is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Dweller is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Lauzon really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Lauzon is working hard here to advance position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mike Dweller dominated that round.

Dweller closes the distance and clinches.
Lauzon tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Dweller is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Dweller tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Lauzon avoids it.
Dweller misses with an elbow strike.
Lauzon tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Dweller just stands there and leans against the cage.
Dweller unloads a knee to the mid-section. Lauzon lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
Lauzon lands a body shot in the clinch.

Dweller scores a nice knee to the body.
Lauzon tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Dweller smiles and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Paul Lauzon. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Lauzon shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Dweller counters with a nice low kick that buckles Lauzon's knee momentarily.
Lauzon shoots in but no luck this time.

Dweller has closed the distance and engaged Lauzon in a clinch.

Dweller has Lauzon pushed against the cage.
Lauzon fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Lauzon tries to stall but Dweller uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Dweller creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Lauzon's defenses.

Dweller manages to break the clinch.

Lauzon fails with the takedown
and Dweller counters with a slapping leg kick.
Mike Dweller seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Dweller moves into the clinch.
Dweller unloads a knee to the mid-section. Lauzon lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
Dweller lands a nice knee to the body.

Dweller escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Mike Dweller is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Dweller moves into the clinch successfully.
Lauzon has Dweller pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Dweller manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Dweller lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Lauzon tries to pull guard but Dweller won't allow it.
Dweller will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Lauzon up against the cage.

Lauzon fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Lauzon has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Dweller uses from the top position.

Lauzon is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Dweller off and has taken his back!

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Dweller tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!
Lauzon lands a big elbow.

Lauzon is working for a guillotine from mount but Dweller frees his head quite easily.
Dweller keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mike Dweller showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!


Lauzon misses with a takedown

and Dweller counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

Lauzon gets control of Dweller's arms and successfully pulls guard. Lauzon will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Dweller advances to half guard.
Lauzon wants to improve his position but Dweller is controlling well.
Dweller is taking a breather. Lauzon says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Lauzon is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Dweller pulls his head out easily.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Dweller passes into side control, despite Lauzon's attempt to control the position.

Lauzon throws a couple of punches but he's in a bad position and they don't land.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Paul Lauzon has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Mike Dweller is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Mike Dweller comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Dweller has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
