Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Saul Singer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, One One!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Marco Blurström and Ben Zyskovitsi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
One throws a jab when Singer was well out of range.

One forces Singer back against the cage and clinches.
Singer lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of One backwards.

One escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
One shoots in but no luck this time.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Singer controlling the action here for a moment.
One is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.

One manages to break the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The fighters circling - Singer throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
One uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Singer.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

That's one minute gone in the round.
One being controlled against the cage.
One misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Singer.

One's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
One looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Singer avoids the head kick by One.
Singer takes one on the button.

One moves into range and clinches up with Singer.
Singer looking to slow down the pace here.
One drops down looking for an ankle pick but Singer pulls his leg out and moves away.
Saul Singer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of One One.
One slips a straight right by Singer.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Singer waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract One.
One avoids a punch combination nicely.

One clinches up against the cage.
Singer lands a left hand.
A shot in the inside from Singer.
Singer pushes One back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
One is trying to drag Singer to the mat but Singer just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Singer dodges an elbow strike from One.
One tries to land knees in the clinch but Singer avoids the damage to the body.
One is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Singer lands on the inside with an uppercut.
One lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Singer or not.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Singer lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of One backwards.
Singer is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but One is keeping busy.
One tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Singer's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Singer slaps away a takedown attempt from One, before circling back to the center of the mat.
One moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

It looks like Saul Singer has been cut.
One One seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

One gets in close and instigates a clinch.
One drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Singer gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Singer prevents a takedown attempt there.
One is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Singer is keeping busy.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Singer wants to break free but One has control.
Singer content to slow the pace in the clinch.
One has a couple of punches blocked by Singer.
Singer misses with a punch to the body.
One has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Singer is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
One tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Singer lands on the inside with an uppercut.
The referee calls for Singer to work.
One prevents Singer from breaking the clinch.
Singer stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.

One breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
One looks to score with a jab to the body but Singer is just out of range.
One is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Singer.
One shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Singer pinned against the cage. Singer gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Singer swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Saul Singer will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Saul Singer's cut.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!

Singer throws the left hand but One avoids the punch easily.
Singer stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Singer wants it to stay on the feet.
One One is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
One throws a left and a right that both miss
and Singer counters with a stiff right hand.

It looks like One One has been cut.
One slips under a jab from Singer.
One swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
It looked like Singer wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
We've been told by Singer's head coaches at Soul Supremacy Rio that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Singer grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! One takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Singer cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:29 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Saul Singer!
