Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bruce Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rye King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Bruce Lee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Rye King!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
King stuffs the takedown.
Lee is looking to clinch but King is avoiding it.
Lee bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

King drives through with a takedown into guard.

King is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

King is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Lee is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Lee has escaped and now he's on top!

King is looking for a triangle here but Lee uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Lee is looking to take a break and control but King is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Lee taking a break here but King is having none of it and regains half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
King is trying to maintain the position but Lee is very close to passing his half guard.

King is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Lee pulls his head out easily.
King tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Lee prevents King from improving his position.
The fighters are battling for position here. King manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Lee trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Lee is fighting to break King's control of his arms but King is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
King trying to keep a closed guard but Lee is proving a slippery customer.
Lee is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Lee knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for King on the ground.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
King trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.
King trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
King trying to control the position.
Lee trying to control the position from guard on top but King is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Lee wants to pass the guard but King is keeping the position.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Lee tries for a takedown but King circles away easily

and King counters with a shoot takedown. Lee fights it but they end up in guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Lee keeping moving, preventing King from controlling successfully.
King might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Lee kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Lee slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
King tries to land a sweep but no joy.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Rye King dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Lee shoots and misses

and King counters with a nice double leg into side control. Lee won't be happy with that.
King working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.

King tries for a kimura but Lee is defending well.

King has hold of Lee's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Lee tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - King cranks the arm and Lee screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Lee, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:37 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Rye King!
