Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Gord Ryan (ranked 265 p4p, 643 weight class) and Ivan Raikov (ranked 38 p4p, 80 weight class). Raikov has chosen Back in the USSR as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Albert Achterberg and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Raikov misses with the combination.
It looked like Ryan wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Ivan Raikov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Raikov misses with a takedown attempt - Ryan sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Raikov looks to throw the jab but Ryan is out of range.
The fight stays on the outside here - Raikov looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Raikov throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Ryan's waist but Ryan gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Raikov off to one side.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Raikov looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Ryan is fending him off so far but Raikov persists. Nope, Ryan circles away and we're back to standing.
Gord Ryan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ivan Raikov.

Raikov is trying hard to land a takedown here. Ryan sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

and Ryan counters with a huge overhand right that connects right on the temple, sending him crumpling, face first to the floor! This one is all over! What a knockout!
