Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kevin Taylor!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Methodios McIntyre!
The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Konstantin Menshow and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McIntyre takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Taylor looks to land a combination but McIntyre avoids it well.
Taylor is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
McIntyre blocks a jab.
McIntyre walks into a straight right hand from Taylor.
Taylor steps to the side to avoid the strikes from McIntyre.
McIntyre tries to close the distance and clinch but Taylor swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Kevin Taylor seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
McIntyre missing with a left hand there. Taylor was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Taylor throws a hook but McIntyre blocks it.
McIntyre tries to clinch but Taylor is having none of it.
McIntyre throws a lazy right hand but Taylor sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
McIntyre throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
A combination from McIntyre does no damage.
McIntyre jabs Taylor to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Taylor misses with an uppercut.
McIntyre throws a body kick that misses.
Taylor throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
McIntyre tries to counter with a clinch but Taylor shakes him off and moves away.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Taylor looks to throw the jab but McIntyre is out of range.
Taylor keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Taylor moves out of range as McIntyre throws a body kick.
Taylor on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
McIntyre misses with a body shot
and Taylor cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
McIntyre displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
It looks like Kevin Taylor has been cut.
McIntyre takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
McIntyre lands with a kick to the ribs.
McIntyre lands a leg kick that knocks Taylor off balance momentarily.
Taylor throws a series of punches but McIntyre moves out of range.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
McIntyre misses with a hook. Taylor ducked under it nicely.
Taylor throws a body punch but McIntyre moves out of range.
McIntyre is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.
McIntyre pounces like a tiger and cracks Taylor with a vicious hook! Taylor is down but not out! McIntyre follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
