Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Chu Chu Fukyu!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kimo Apolo!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fukyu throws a poor cross that misses
and Apolo counters with a straight right hand.
Fukyu throws a quick inside leg kick.
Apolo misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Fukyu looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Apolo fails to land with a series of punches.

Apolo's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Apolo looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Apolo cracks Fukyu with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Apolo cracks Fukyu with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Fukyu walks into a stiff left hand from Apolo.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Apolo throws a lazy right hand but Fukyu sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Apolo moves into the clinch successfully.
Fukyu tries to work over Apolo's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Fukyu doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Fukyu is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Apolo manages to break the clinch.
Fukyu throws a good cross that connects.
Apolo connects with the punch.
Apolo closes the distance and clinches.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Kimo Apolo dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

It looked like Fukyu wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

and Apolo counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Apolo throws a hook to the side of Fukyu's head but Fukyu sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Fukyu is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Apolo.
Apolo takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Apolo has Fukyu up against the cage in a clinch.
Apolo manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Apolo has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Fukyu should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Apolo has tightened it up now! Fukyu should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
