Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ryu Inhanamoto (ranked 154 p4p, 1124 weight class) and Methodios McIntyre (ranked 17 p4p, 130 weight class). McIntyre comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Gallantry kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ryu Inhanamoto!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Methodios McIntyre!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Saam Ante and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McIntyre buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Inhanamoto takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
McIntyre dips to his left and cracks Inhanamoto with an uppercut!
McIntyre throws a low kick but Inhanamoto avoids it.
Inhanamoto was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Inhanamoto lands with a nice body punch.
McIntyre misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
An attempted straight right counter from Inhanamoto misses the target.
McIntyre misses with the body kick
and Inhanamoto counters with a nice uppercut.
It looks like Methodios McIntyre has been cut.
McIntyre throws a hook but Inhanamoto blocks it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
McIntyre throws a body kick, spinning off balance
and Inhanamoto counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
OH! McIntyre has been rocked by a huge right hand and is in deep trouble! Inhanamoto smells blood and charges in for the finish! Inhanamoto unloads a vicious overhand right and connects to the jaw of McIntyre sending him face first to the canvas! Unbelievable!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Ryu Inhanamoto!

After winning the bout, Ryu Inhanamoto thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
