Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Park Yo Ka (ranked 1042 p4p, 1521 weight class) and Wing Wang (ranked 162 p4p, 236 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Wing Wang!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Jonathan Paton and Russell Pearce.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yo Ka misses with an uppercut

and Wang counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Yo Ka!
Wang working the strikes but Yo Ka uses the opportunity to regain half guard.
Yo Ka is holding on to half guard well.
Wang seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Yo Ka has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Yo Ka throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Wang shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Wang showed some decent athleticism there.

Yo Ka has his hands clasped together around Wang's back. He's all about the action.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.

Wang shoots in for a double leg but Yo Ka sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Wang takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Yo Ka stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Yo Ka wants it to stay on the feet.
Yo Ka cracks a nice hook into Wang's ribs.
Yo Ka throws a lazy right hand but Wang sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Wang drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Yo Ka defends it well.
Yo Ka lands a really nice looking cross but Wang seems unphased.
Yo Ka looks to score with a jab to the body but Wang is just out of range.

Yo Ka has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.
Wang fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Yo Ka avoids it really well and circles away.

Yo Ka throws a lazy right hand but Wang sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Yo Ka scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.

Wang throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Yo Ka's waist but Yo Ka gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Wang off to one side.

Wang shoots in for a takedown but Yo Ka shows good takedown defense.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Yo Ka here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

Wang changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Yo Ka looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Wang thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Wang shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Yo Ka pinned against the cage. Yo Ka gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Yo Ka slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

And that's the end of the fight!
Park Yo Ka showed his dominance in that final round.
