Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Lathem McGuire (ranked 531 p4p, 467 weight class) and Dusty Rhodes (ranked 64 p4p, 54 weight class). Rhodes has chosen Bury My Bones as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slow jab from Rhodes misses its intended target.
McGuire throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Rhodes clinches up against the cage.
Rhodes lands with a short punch from the clinch.
McGuire blocking some punches.
A shot in the inside from Rhodes.
Rhodes swings away with an uppercut that misses.
McGuire throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Rhodess head.
Rhodes throws a punch but it's blocked by McGuire.
McGuire scores with a shoulder strike.
Nice body punch from McGuire - that landed with a thud.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, McGuire creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

It looks like Dusty Rhodes has been cut.
McGuire lands a body shot in the clinch.
McGuire wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Rhodes has him pressed against the cage.
Rhodes swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
McGuire blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Rhodes gets through McGuire's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
McGuire is pressed up against the cage. Rhodes has hold of a leg and is looking to drag McGuire down to the mat. McGuire avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Rhodes has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Rhodes there as he acknowledges the shot.

Rhodes tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but McGuire was well out of range. Poor timing from Rhodes.
McGuire throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Rhodes tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
McGuire paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Rhodes fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Rhodes sizes up McGuire with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Rhodes bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Rhodes throws a lazy right hand but McGuire sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Rhodes throws a hook but McGuire avoids it easily.
Rhodes takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
McGuire thuds a left hand into Rhodes's body.
