PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Drazen Nitrovic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dion Dupree (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nitrovic comes to the cage accompanied by Children (Dream version) by Robert Miles. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Drazen Nitrovic!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Dion Dupree!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Chris Edwards and Steven Brown.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nitrovic moves out of range of the body kick from Dupree.
Dupree fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Dupree showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Nitrovic.
Horrible takedown by Dupree or perhaps it was just good defense by Nitrovic which made him look bad.
Dupree closes this distance looking for a takedown but Nitrovic circles away.
Drazen Nitrovic has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dion Dupree.
Dupree tries to close the distance and clinch up but Nitrovic swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Dupree fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Dupree shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Nitrovic as he avoids it easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dupree changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Nitrovic tries to avoid it but Dupree manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Nitrovic to the ground. Nitrovic escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Dupree looks gassed!
Dupree looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Nitrovic is fending him off so far but Dupree persists. Nope, Nitrovic circles away and we're back to standing.
Nitrovic throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Dupree is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Nitrovic lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Dupree is rocked!
Nitrovic lands with a massive overhand right! Stick a fork in Dupree - he's out cold! Ermm... I think I just mixed my metaphors but yeah... That was a nice KO! Big win for Nitrovic!
