The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

McGuinty is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Hanks can't fight it off and eventually McGuinty manages to take the fight to the floor. Hanks looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Hanks looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! McGuinty has picked Hanks up and slammed him! Hanks can't keep hold of the triangle and McGuinty manages to pass to side control!

McGuinty swings around for an armbar but Hanks sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into McGuinty's guard.

Hanks has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. McGuinty doesn't defend quickly enough and Hanks has managed to lock this one up! Can McGuinty escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Hanks on a fantastic submission victory.
