Savinov is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: HonestKey- Point A. Alexev Savinov will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Savinov stuffs the takedown.
Donnay looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Savinov stuffs the takedown attempt from Donnay. Donnay gets slowly back to his feet.
Donnay misses with a takedown
and Savinov counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Char Donnay. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Savinov bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!
Donnay misses with a body kick.
Savinov connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Savinov leaves Donnay with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Savinov is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Donnay.
Savinov moves out of range of the body kick.
Savinov delivers a nice body kick.
Donnay ducks right into an uppercut from Savinov.

Donnay takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Savinov lands a right hook to the body.

Savinov displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Donnay.

Savinov feints and then cracks Donnay's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Donnay down.
Donnay doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Savinov cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Savinov avoids the body shot from Donnay.
Donnay shoots in but Savinov avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Donnay takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Donnay is trying hard to land a takedown here. Savinov sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Donnay walks into a stiff left hand from Savinov.

Donnay is breathing heavily.

Nice straight punches there by Savinov. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Savinov.
Oh Donnay is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Donnay with a poor takedown
and Savinov counters with a right, left combo that wobbles Donnay badly! Savinov follows up with a massive right hook, straight to the bridge of the nose that knocks Donnay out cold! Oh wow, what a finish! Very reminiscent of Koscheck vs Yoshida as Savinov finished him against the cage.
