Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Ishmael Egyptian!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 22 - 13 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Aubrey Grant!
The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Egyptian works the jab nicely.
Egyptian has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Grant throws a low kick but Egyptian avoids it.
Egyptian ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Grant throws a wild body kick that Egyptian sees coming a mile off.

Grant lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Egyptian circles away quickly and effectively.
Grant tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Egyptian manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Grant is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Grant pulls Egyptian in close to prevent any damage.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

The crowd cheers as Grant lands an impressive looking overhand right. Egyptian doesn't seem phased though.

Egyptian on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Grant enables Egyptian to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Grant manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

I've got Grant winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
