Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jake Rodrigues (ranked 2106 p4p, 2305 weight class) and My Time (ranked 146 p4p, 157 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jake Rodrigues!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 34 - 24 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, My Time!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Richard Clark and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Time jabs Rodrigues right on the nose. Rodrigues blinks but takes it well.
Rodrigues scores with the left hand. Time knows he should have avoided that one.
A big left from Time misses.
A slapping leg kick lands for Rodrigues.
Time slips a jab from Rodrigues.
Rodrigues works the jab nicely.
Rodrigues uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Time.
Rodrigues throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Time sees it coming and avoids it easily.
A punch lands to the side of Rodrigues 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Time is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Rodrigues.
Time throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Rodrigues lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
We've been told by Rodrigues's head coaches at Vale Tudo NY that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
That kick from Rodrigues tenderised Time's leg. Time is trying to keep his angry face on.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Rodrigues misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Time.
A nice leg kick from Rodrigues, right into the meat of the thigh.
Time swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Rodrigues counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Time throws a low kick but it's checked well by Rodrigues.

Rodrigues feints and then cracks Time's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Time down.

Rodrigues lands with an uppercut that bounces Time off the cage and back into range.
Rodrigues jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.

Time throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Time takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Rodrigues lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Time keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Rodrigues lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Rodrigues is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Time throws a sloppy body shot
and Rodrigues counters with a slapping leg kick.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

It seemed like Time was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Time looks to land a left hand but Rodrigues moved out of range nicely.
Rodrigues appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.

Rodrigues throws a series of punches but Time moves out of range.
Rodrigues darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

Time is still on wobbly legs! Can Rodrigues finish him?
Time misses with an uppercut
and Rodrigues counters with a crisp right that sends Time to the canvas! Rodrigues follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
