Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Polly Johnson (ranked 2116 p4p, 3062 weight class) and Suzaku Kururugi (ranked 260 p4p, 348 weight class). Suzaku Kururugi is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Polly Johnson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 13 - 0, fighting out of New York, Suzaku Kururugi!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Daniel Bishop and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kururugi moves out of range as Johnson strikes.
Kururugi moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Johnson feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Kururugis jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Johnson scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Kururugi doesn't seem bothered though.
Johnson's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Kururugi connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Johnson scrambles back to his feet.
Johnson scoring well with a low kick there.
Kururugi lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Johnson circles away quickly and effectively.
Johnson lands a right hook to the body.
Kururugi moves out of range as Johnson throws a body kick.
Kururugi takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Johnson on the wrong end of a nice jab.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Johnson swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Johnson looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Kururugi wants to slow Johnson down by chopping away at his legs.
Johnson scores with a nice right hand.
Johnson lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Johnson misses with a looping right.
A countering left hand to the body from Kururugi misses.
Johnson connects with a jab.
Johnson cracks Kururugi with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Johnson has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Kururugi to stand back up!
Kururugi is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Are you kidding me?! Johnson ducked down and unloaded an uppercut from hell that sent Kururugi clean off his feet! Someone make me a GIF - that's knockout of the night for sure!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Polly Johnson!
A relieved looking Polly Johnson thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
