Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Kent Ljung!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kyung Ho Kang!
The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Illya Tyunina and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ljung tries a head kick but it misses.
Ljung feints and then cracks Kang's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Kang down.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Ljung.
Ljung seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Ljung looks to clinch
and Kang counters with a single leg into guard. Ljung didn't expect that.
Kang content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ljung preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Ljung has his feet on Kang's thighs here. He's pushed Kang off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Kang screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
