Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jay Meadows!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kamehameha The King !
The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Valeri Chadov and Konstantin Menshow.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The King walks into a straight right hand from Meadows.
Meadows misses with a few strikes there.
Meadows jabs at The King 's body.
The King avoids the body shot from Meadows.
Jay Meadows seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Meadows throws a hook but The King avoids it easily.
The King tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Meadows defends well and The King ends up having to push Meadows into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Meadows bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of The King 's head.
The King takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Meadows avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
A jab from Meadows finds it's way through The King 's defenses.

It looks like Jay Meadows has been cut.

The King shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Meadows is trying to defend but The King finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
The King lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Meadows looks like he's trying to stand up.

The King winds up and cracks Meadows with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The King throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Meadows to regain full guard.
Meadows wants to get back to his feet but The King is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as The King accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
The King throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Meadows utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Meadows wants to get back to his feet but The King is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Meadows looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
The King throws a big right hand that misses.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The King throws a strike but Meadows rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

The King keeping moving, preventing Meadows from controlling successfully.

The King is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
The King lands an uppercut.
Meadows gets underhooks to prevent The King 's takedown attempt.

Meadows breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
The King lands a jab to the nose.
Meadows misses with an uppercut. The King saw that one coming.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The King cracks Meadows with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Meadows tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but The King pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Meadows is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kamehameha The King !
Kamehameha The King decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
