Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Owain Parsons (ranked 3214 p4p, 4526 weight class) and William Ward (ranked 366 p4p, 453 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Owain Parsons!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, William Ward!
The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Dmitry Maklakov and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parsons feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Wards jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Horrible takedown attempt by Ward or perhaps it was just good defense by Parsons, which made it look bad.

Ward postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Parsons in real trouble here! The ref calls for Parsons to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
