Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between John Dory (ranked 5779 p4p, 5659 weight class) and Joao Gabriel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gabriel has chosen Circo das Galinhas as his entrance music. Joao Gabriel will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, John Dory!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Joao Gabriel!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Tarja Halkonen and Johanna Lukiainen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dory loads up on a big right hand but Gabriel slips the punch.
A little jabbing left from Gabriel on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Dory connects with a high kick.
Gabriel steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Dory.
Gabriel with the counter takedown but Dory avoids it easily.
Gabriel moves out of range as Dory strikes.
A countering left hand to the body from Gabriel misses.
Dory throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Gabriel drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Dory defends it well.
Gabriel takes a shot to the body in his stride.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gabriel takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
A slow jab from Dory misses its intended target.
And Gabriel tries to counter it with a takedown but Dory pushes his down on his head and steps out.
A punch lands to the side of Gabriel 's head but he takes it in his stride.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Dory lands a really nice looking cross but Gabriel seems unphased.
Dory is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Gabriel.
Gabriel keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Gabriel is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Dory throws an overhand right that lands on Gabriel's shoulder, as Gabriel tries to avoid the shot.
Gabriel takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
BOOM! Dory lands a beautiful left hook that drops Gabriel. Gabriel tries to recover but Dory is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Gabriel lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). John Dory!
John Dory decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
