Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Peter Beardsley!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Tauski Mountain!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Ian Loll and Trevor Gratis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big right from Beardsley misses.
A countering left hand to the body from Mountain misses.
Beardsley ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Mountain moves away.
Mountain ducks under a wild hook from Beardsley.

Beardsley clinches up against the cage.
Mountain scores with a nice hook to the head.

It looks like Peter Beardsley has been cut.
Beardsley tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Mountain's elbow.
Beardsley tries to throw a body punch but Mountain avoids it by throwing Beardsley back against the cage.

I was talking to Beardsley's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Beardsley tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Mountain smiles and moves away.

Beardsley working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Mountain doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Mountain manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Beardsley isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Mountain stacks Beardsley on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Mountain!
Beardsley is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Mountain is one step ahead and moves to full mount!

That was a close round but I would say that Peter Beardsley will probably get the nod.

Tauski Mountain comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Mountain has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
