Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Beast Mode (ranked 24931 p4p, 25165 weight class) and Dominic Mowrey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dominic Mowrey is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mowrey stuffs the takedown.
Mode shoots in for a takedown but Mowrey shows good takedown defense.
Mowrey shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Mode defends it nicely.
It looked like Mode was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

Mowrey closes the distance and pushes Mode back into the cage.
Mowrey should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Mowrey breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Mode looking to sit in guard and control but Mowrey gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Mowrey rushes Mode and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Mowrey has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Mowrey is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
