The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Idowu dives in for a single leg takedown but Kalliope sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Idowu shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Idowu seems to be working for a kimura but Kalliope defends the submission attempt.
Kalliope wants to improve his position but Idowu is controlling well.
