Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ferris Del Zotto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy Hare (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jimmy Hare is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Del Zotto darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Hare is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Hare is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Del Zotto pulls his head out easily.
Hare is looking to improve his position.
Del Zotto wants to pass to mount but Hare is defending the position.
Hare gets back to full guard.
Hare looking to control.
Del Zotto with a flurry of punches that miss.

Hare pushes Del Zotto off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Del Zotto pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Del Zotto looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Hare moves into the clinch successfully.

Hare manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Del Zotto lands a couple of decent looking shots.

Del Zotto is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Hare is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Del Zotto is aware though and is defending well.
Hare looks gassed!
Del Zotto postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Hare lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Del Zotto!

Del Zotto has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Hare looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Hare blocks Del Zotto's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom.

Del Zotto sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Hare is looking for a kimura here.
Hare is looking to advance position but Del Zotto won't allow it.

Hare lands strikes from half guard.
Hare seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Del Zotto does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Hare is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!

The referee warns Del Zotto that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Hare has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Del Zotto is proving hard to escape from.

Hare is sitting in close to Del Zotto's body. Del Zotto has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Hare is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Hare is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Del Zotto.
