Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Terry Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Silas Mayne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Tiny Johnson and Daniel Franklin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab-cross combination lands for Smith and sends Mayne crashing to the mat! Smith follows him down to the mat - Mayne regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!

It looks like Silas Mayne has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Mayne is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Smith's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Smith's back!

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Mayne postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Smith looks a forlorn figure.

Mayne looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Smith with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

That's time! Smith's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

No joy there for Mayne, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Smith throws a right hand that Mayne ducks under and follows up with a left that Mayne also avoids with ease.

Mayne feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
