PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jason Reeves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyson Roe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Roe has chosen "Welcome To The Jungle" by Guns N' Roses as his entrance music. On his way into the cage it seems that Jason Reeves has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Jason Reeves seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Tiny Johnson and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Roe shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Roe is nestled in close to Reeves, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Reeves is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Roe pulls his head out easily.

Roe wants to pass to mount but Reeves is defending the position.

Roe seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Roe closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Reeves did well to prevent Roe getting side control.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Roe feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Reeves working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Roe doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Roe manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Well Roe has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
