Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chidi Chika (ranked 32 p4p, 655 weight class) and Martin Drop (ranked 3 p4p, 43 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drop throws the kick towards the body but Chika avoids it.
Chika throwing a counter right hand but Drop manages to avoid it.
Drop lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Drop jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Drop throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Drop throws the kick towards the body but Chika avoids it.
Chika was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Chika throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Drop scores with a nice body kick.
Chika blocks a head kick by Drop.
An attempted straight right counter from Chika misses the target.
Chika misses with an uppercut.
Drop throws a hook to the side of Chika's head but Chika sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Drop throws a shot from downtown. Chika moves away and avoids it.
Chika misses with a hook. Drop ducked under it nicely.
Drop throws a hook but Chika blocks it.
Chika tried to counter with a leg kick but Drop avoided it.
Chika ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Drop throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

It looks like Chidi Chika has been cut.
Drop has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Chika is landing a low percentage of strikes.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Chika misses with a wild body shot.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Chika scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Drop connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Chika momentarily.
Drop throws a hook but Chika blocks it.
A slapping leg kick lands for Chika.
Chika throws a looping overhand right but Drop ducks down to avoid it.
And Drop responds with a good body kick, but Chika manages to step out the way in time.
Chika scores with a shot to the body.
Chika scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Drop lands a head kick. Chika smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Drop throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Chika counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Chika lands with an uppercut that bounces Drop off the cage and back into range.

It looks like Martin Drop has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Drop misses with a lunging right hand
and Chika counters with a straight right hand.
Drop throws a push kick but Chika slaps the foot to one side.
Martin Drop seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fighters circling - Drop throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Chika lands a big right hand that sends Drop crashing to the mat! Chika stays standing though and waves Drop back to his feet!
Chika avoids a kick to the body.
Chika tried to counter with a leg kick but Drop avoided it.

Drop throws a shot from downtown. Chika moves away and avoids it.
Chika was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Chika just misses with a punch to the body.
Chika has been working on his boxing with his coaches at The Rubber Guard Emporium in the buildup to the fight.

and Chika counters with a crisp right hand that drops Drop! Chika lets Drop back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

and Chika makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Drop is still on wobbly legs! Can Chika finish him?

Chika lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Chika slips a jab and a cross from Drop.
Drop seems to have recovered his senses.

and Chika counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Chika misses with a low kick.
Chika throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Chika lands a jab to the nose.
Crack! Chika connects with the perfect overhand right and Drop falls face first to the canvas. Timbeeeeeeeer! Beautiful knockout for Chika!
