Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between MIchael Myers (ranked 3165 p4p, 2253 weight class) and Felix Savon (ranked 361 p4p, 267 weight class). Savon has chosen Félix Savón - Knockouts as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Joseph Jones and Eddie Farnsworth.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Savon lands with a thumping leg kick.
Savon scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Savon lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Savon has eaten all the pies!
Myers takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Savon throws a sloppy head kick and Myers moves out of range easily.
Savon with a nice calf kick.
Myers tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Savon paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Savon takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
An inside leg kick lands from Savon.

Savon listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Savon misses with a wild body shot.
Myers tries to counter with a takedown but Savon is quick to defend against it.
Savon connects with a looping right hand.
Savon swats away the attempt to clinch by Myers.
Myers tries to move into range but Savon moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Savon paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Myers has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Savon.
Savon fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Myers on the side of the head.
Savon looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Savon lands a jab.
Savon lands a leg kick that knocks Myers off balance momentarily.
Savon scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Myers doesn't seem bothered though.

Savon connects with a leg kick.
Myers takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Myers.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Myers looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

Myers scoring with punches and elbows.
Myers cracks Savon with a big right hand but Savon just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Savon is looking for a sweep.

Myers has an Americana. Savon didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Myers is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Myers hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
