The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A decent looking cross lands there for Ambler.
Lauzou on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Lauzou will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Ambler misses with a double jab

and Lauzou counters with a combination of strikes to the head and body that crumple Ambler!

Ambler is looking for a sweep. Lauzou is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Ambler is trying to control but can't.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Lauzou passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Ambler!

Lauzou controlling the pace for now.
Lauzou fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Ambler is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Ambler is wriggling around trying to escape.
Lauzou lands with some strikes.
Ambler working to try and regain half guard.
Ambler tries to lock up and control but Lauzou gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Ambler is looking to improve his position but Lauzou isn't that keen on the idea.
Lauzou avoids the attempt from Ambler to control.
Ambler looks gassed!

Lauzou breaks from Ambler's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Lauzou controlling the pace for now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lauzou putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound!
Ambler is looking to improve his position but Lauzou isn't that keen on the idea.
Lauzou postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Ambler looks a forlorn figure.

It looks like Burdon Ambler has been cut.

Lauzou is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Ambler can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Ambler is looking to get to half guard.
Ambler takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Ambler tries to hold on but Lauzou postures up.
Ambler tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Lauzou sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.

Lauzou takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Ambler is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Lauzou scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Lauzou with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Lauzou misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Jaeq Lauzou is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Lauzou throws a nice looking combination but Ambler bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Lauzou drops Ambler with a big left hand! Ambler is injured, injured bad! Lauzou jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!
