The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice uppercut lands for Pemberton. That snapped Pavilis's head back.
Pavilis is looking to clinch.
Pavilis tries to close the distance and clinch but Pemberton swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Pemberton swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Pemberton swats away the attempt to clinch by Pavilis.
Pavilis takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Pavilis tries to clinch but Pemberton is having none of it.
Pemberton comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Pavilis gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Pemberton closes the distance and pushes Pavilis back into the cage.

A frustrated look appears on Pavilis's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Pemberton lands with a short shot to the head.
A short uppercut from Pemberton.
Pemberton presses Pavilis against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Pemberton lands a body punch.
Pavilis is breathing heavily.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Pemberton.

Pemberton should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Pavilis tries to break the clinch but Pemberton is controlling the position.
Pemberton pushes Pavilis back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Pemberton cracks Pavilis with a nice body shot.
Pemberton lands a right hand that snaps the head of Pavilis backwards.

Pemberton manages to break the clinch.
Pavilis takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Pemberton's jab looks to have found its range, popping Pavilis under the eye.
Pavilis looks up at the clock. Bad move! Pemberton lands a right hand from hell, dropping Pavilis. Pemberton pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.

In his post fight interview, Beau Pemberton started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
