Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between John Sisk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brown has chosen Nirvana - Lake of Fire as his entrance music. John Sisk had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mike Brown!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Trevor Gratis and Elvis Blanc.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Brown, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Sisk has managed to clinch.
Brown tries to score a body lock takedown but Sisk shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Sisk creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Sisk missing with knees to the body.

Sisk tries for a takedown but Brown manages to get underhooks.

Brown tries to circle away but Sisk has him pinned against the cage.
Brown tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Sisk just stands there and leans against the cage.

Sisk is pressed up against the cage. Brown has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Sisk down to the mat. Sisk avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
John Sisk has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mike Brown.
Sisk tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Brown shoots for a takedown but Sisk saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Sisk lands an elbow that stopped Brown in his tracks for a moment.

Sisk is trying to trip Brown. He has hold of a leg but Brown is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Sisk persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Sisk thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Sisk is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Brown is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Brown has escaped and now he's on top!

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Brown lands a nice short elbow.

Sisk tries to get to full guard but Brown has control of the leg.
Brown looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Sisk with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Sisk has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Brown. Oh but Sisk has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Brown goes limp - he's gone! Sisk jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
