Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Gage Hurt (ranked 3908 p4p, 4478 weight class) and Kristopher Savage (ranked 0 p4p, 499 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Gage Hurt!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Paulo Santos and Luis Engracia.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hurt tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Savage was well out of range. Poor timing from Hurt.
Savage ducks under a wild hook from Hurt.
Hurt swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Savage.
Hurt showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Savage.
Hurt misses with a body shot.
Hurt looks to land a right hand but Savage moved out of range.
Savage tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Hurt manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Hurt just misses with a punch to the body.
Savage looks for a takedown but Hurt sprawls well.
Savage fails in his attempt to clinch.
Savage shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Hurt as he jumps to the side.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hurt digs a good body shot into Savage's ribs.
Hurt throws a shot to the body.
Hurt thuds his right hand into Savage's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Savage closes the distance and clinches up with Hurt, looking for a takedown. Savage pushes Hurt against the cage but Hurt circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Gage Hurt has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kristopher Savage.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A looping hook to the body misses from Hurt. Savage does a little dance to reset his feet.

Hurt throws a jab but it's blocked by Savage.
Savage feints the counter takedown.
Savage darts in looking for a takedown but Hurt gets double underhooks and turns Savage into the cage.
Hurt is looking to wear down Savage with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Hurt misses with a straight left.
As Hurt backs off Savage throws a huge counter combo but Hurt manages to avoid it all.
Hurt defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Savage.
Savage looks winded!
Savage bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Hurt throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
A swing and a miss from Hurt.
Hurt pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Savage takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Savage looks to land a combination but Hurt avoids it well.
Hurt swings for the body but Savage moves out of range.
Hurt lunges at Savage with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Savage's hand.
Hurt scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Hurt takes a swing at Savage's ribcage but misses.
Savage tries to counter by closing the distance.
Hurt tests Savage's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Savage is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Hurt fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Savage looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Savage is still on wobbly legs! Can Hurt finish him?
Hurt lands with a massive overhand right! Stick a fork in Savage - he's out cold! Ermm... I think I just mixed my metaphors but yeah... That was a nice KO! Big win for Hurt!
