Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Robert MacArthur Jnr (ranked 3124 p4p, 2112 weight class) and Spinning Fire (ranked 0 p4p, 243 weight class). MacArthur Jnr comes to the cage accompanied by barbarian pipe band. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 25 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Spinning Fire!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Marco Blurström and Anni Minnemäki.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fire avoids the head kick by MacArthur Jnr.
Fire looks to land a left hand but MacArthur Jnr moved out of range nicely.
As Fire backs away, MacArthur Jnr returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.
MacArthur Jnr does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
MacArthur Jnr swings widly with a right hand
and Fire counters with a left to the body.

Fire scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.

Fire works to advance to full mount. MacArthur Jnr defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
MacArthur Jnr takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Fire trying to control but MacArthur Jnr is having none of it.
Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground!

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Fire cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
MacArthur Jnr can't escape the position.
MacArthur Jnr bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
MacArthur Jnr seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Fire has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Fire is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Fire told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.
Fire is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Fire wants to control from the top but MacArthur Jnr keeps moving.

MacArthur Jnr is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Fire keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of MacArthur Jnr's head.

MacArthur Jnr seems to have got his legs back now.
Fire connects with a couple of short punches.
Fire lands a couple of digs.
Fire trying to control but MacArthur Jnr is working from the bottom.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fire is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
MacArthur Jnr tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Fire looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Spinning Fire dominated that round.

MacArthur Jnr gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Fire gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! MacArthur Jnr is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Spinning Fire!
An out of breath Spinning Fire thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
