Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Manly McManliness (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jos Henvel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Henvel closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming McManliness to the mat! McManliness manages to get full guard.

I looks like Henvel might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Let's hope that Henvel has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
McManliness walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Henvel checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Henvel looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks McManliness with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Manly McManliness.
