Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jon Meril (ranked 670 p4p, 394 weight class) and Darstknasset Oystenteller (ranked 98 p4p, 61 weight class). Meril kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is YEAT - Get Busy. Oystenteller has chosen "You're Having My Baby" by Paul Anka as his entrance music. On his way into the cage it seems that Jon Meril has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Jon Meril seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Oystenteller throws a lazy uppercut
and Meril counters with a left to the body.

Oystenteller shoots in for a takedown but Meril shows good takedown defense.
Oystenteller ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

It looked like Meril was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
