Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Richard White!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Jan Pavlovich!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Reed Andrews and John Roberts.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pavlovich throws a jab when White was well out of range.
White changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
White tries for a takedown but Pavlovich sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Pavlovich misses the jab.
Pavlovich swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by White.
White avoids a punch combination nicely.
White doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
White uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Pavlovich.

White drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
White creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Pavlovich sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
White has control of an arm but Pavlovich manages to advance to White's back!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
White trying to control the hands but Pavlovich won't let him.
Pavlovich is riding his opponent, not letting White buck him off.
White is defending well here and trying to improve his position.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
White just trying to survive but Pavlovich is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.
Pavlovich throws a big right hand but he misses and hits the mat. Ouch.

White tries to escape but Pavlovich has the hooks in and won't let him break free.

The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Pavlovich's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.

Pavlovich working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet.
Pavlovich is trying to stick to White's back but White is turning into Pavlovich. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Pavlovich's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by White.
White is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.

Pavlovich looking to hit a scissor sweep but White is one step ahead there.

Pavlovich can't keep his opponent in guard - White advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Pavlovich has hold of White's hands but White slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
White is looking to stall here but Pavlovich recovers full guard.
White cracks Pavlovich with a solid left hand.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
White keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Pavlovich's head.
White tries to free his leg and advance position but Pavlovich is retaining full guard.
White seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Jan Pavlovich dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

White darts in looking for a takedown but Pavlovich gets double underhooks and turns White into the cage.
Pavlovich is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. White is defending well for now.

White works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
White throws an elbow that misses. Pavlovich uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in White's guard. Nice move by Pavlovich!

White is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Pavlovich is looking to work some ground and pound but White has wrist control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Pavlovich is looking to stand up but White won't let him.
Pavlovich is fighting to break White's control of his arms but White is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

White is working an open guard so Pavlovich takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from White lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Pavlovich has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Pavlovich and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Pavlovich wants to slow White down by chopping away at his legs.

White dodges the punch combination from Pavlovich.
Pavlovich's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Pavlovich duly obliges.

White feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Richard White overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

White might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Pavlovich is trying to control the position from the bottom.
White working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Pavlovich's head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Pavlovich scrambles and gets back to his feet.
White blocks a low kick nicely.
Pavlovich is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Pavlovich gets caught flat footed, as White shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as White accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
White lands a couple of decent looking shots.

White cracks Pavlovich with a solid left hand.
Pavlovich is trying to control the position from the bottom.
White working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Pavlovich's head.

Pavlovich is rocked!
Pavlovich is breathing heavily.
White scoring with punches to the head and body.
Pavlovich is still in real trouble! Can White finish him?
Hammerfist, elbow! yells White's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
White arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Pavlovich's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:46 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Richard White!
Richard White bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
