Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Bruce Hardman (ranked 3350 p4p, 24463 weight class) and Santos Resi (ranked 247 p4p, 343 weight class). Santos Resi will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Resi misses with an uppercut

so Hardman counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Hardman really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Hardman is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Hardman decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Resi tests Hardman's chin there with a solid looking shot.

It looks like Bruce Hardman has been cut.
Hardman seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
A telegraphed right hand from Resi misses the target.
Hardman lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Resi lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

Hardman drives through with a takedown into Resi's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Hardman works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Hardman frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Hardman looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Hardman has control of Resi's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Resi regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Resi defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Hardman.
Resi looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Hardman looking to isolate an arm here. Resi doesn't see it coming and as Hardman extends the arm, he's forced to tap out! Nice submission by Hardman!
