Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Viktor Babinski (ranked 1168 p4p, 2508 weight class) and Solomon Pruitt (ranked 127 p4p, 292 weight class). Pruitt is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Singularity - By: DL Incognito. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 29 - 11 - 0, fighting out of London, Viktor Babinski!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Solomon Pruitt!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pruitt scores with a jab. Babinski acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Babinski on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Pruitt lands a nice leg kick that just misses Babinski's sensitive parts.
Pruitt moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Babinski on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

The fighters circle momentarily. Pruitt darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

and Babinski counters with a crisp one two that drops Pruitt! Babinski thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Pruitt to his feet! Pruitt is in big trouble!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Pruitt throws a hook to the side of Babinski's head but Babinski sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Babinski is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Pruitt connects with the punch.
Solomon Pruitt seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pruitt fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Babinski has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Babinski ducks under a wild hook from Pruitt.
Pruitt scores with a crisp jab that stopped Babinski in his tracks.

A punch lands to the side of Babinski 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Pruitt has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.
A lazy left from Pruitt finds it's target.
Pruitt ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

It looks like Solomon Pruitt has been cut.
Babinski bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
A big right from Pruitt misses.
Pruitt misses with an uppercut. Babinski saw that one coming.
It looked like Babinski was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Pruitt.
Babinski needs to keep his hands up - Pruitt had a free shot at his head there.
Pruitt missing with a left hand there. Babinski was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Pruitt feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Babinskis jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Pruitt connects with a right hand. Babinski shakes it off.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Babinski avoids a punch combination nicely.
It appears Babinski was looking to counter with a kick there.

Babinski moves forwards but Pruitt connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Pruitt swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
A slow jab from Pruitt misses its intended target.
Babinski throws a hook but Pruitt avoids it easily.

and Babinski counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Babinski slips a straight right by Pruitt.
Pruitt throws a good cross that connects.
Babinski takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Babinski rushes Pruitt and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Babinski's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Babinski dodges an elbow strike from Pruitt.
Babinski can't find room to land a body shot as Pruitt controls the action.
Pruitt scores with a nice hook to the head.
Pruitt looking to throw knees to the head but Babinski is blocking nicely.
Babinski doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Pruitt has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
I was talking to Babinski's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Babinski misses with the head strike.

Pruitt pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Babinski takes one on the button.
Pruitt throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Babinski counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
A jab from Pruitt misses.
Pruitt misses the shot to the body.
Babinski swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Pruitt wants to slow Babinski down by chopping away at his legs.
As Pruitt backs away, Babinski returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.
Pruitt misses with a low kick.
The fighters circling - Pruitt throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Babinski moves out of range of the leg kick from Pruitt.
Pruitt showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Babinski.
Babinski just misses with a punch to the body.
Pruitt slips under a jab from Babinski.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
A left lands for Babinski.
Babinski's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Pruitt connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Babinski scrambles back to his feet.
Pruitt bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Babinski's head backwards.
Pruitt tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Babinski is able to avoid easily.
Babinski has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Babinski there as he acknowledges the shot.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Pruitt scores with the left hand. Babinski knows he should have avoided that one.
Babinski drops Pruitt with a straight right hand, right on the button! Babinski follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Viktor Babinski!
Viktor Babinski was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
