Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jesus Christ Karter (ranked 473 p4p, 192 weight class) and Jacques Turcotte (ranked 71 p4p, 26 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 33 - 22 - 1, fighting out of New York, Jesus Christ Karter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 26 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jacques Turcotte!
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, John Roberts and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Turcotte tries to sprawl but Karter drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Turcotte is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Turcotte has his hands clasped together around Karter's back. He's all about the action.
Turcotte keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Turcotte wants to get back to full guard.
Karter is just content to waste time from the top position. Turcotte takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
Karter wants to control from the top but Turcotte keeps moving.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Karter is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Turcotte pulls Karter in close to prevent any damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Karter controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Turcotte keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Karter will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Turcotte throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Turcotte cracks Karter with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Turcotte missing with a left hand there. Karter was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Karter is looking to counter punch.
Nice takedown defense from Turcotte. No joy for Karter on that attempt.
Turcotte swats away the attempt to clinch by Karter.
Turcotte throws out a loose jab but Karter uses good head movement to avoid it.

Karter throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Turcotte lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.

Turcotte swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Karter looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Karter moves in looking to clinch but Turcotte pushes him off.
Turcotte swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Karter connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
It looks like Jacques Turcotte has been cut.
Turcotte misses with a right hand
and Karter counters with a lovely straight right hand!

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Karter just misses with a punch to the body.
Turcotte takes a swing at Karter's ribcage but misses.
Karter chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Turcotte scores with a nice head shot.
Turcotte has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
A good leg kick by Karter.
Turcotte connects with a jab.
Turcotte jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Turcotte misses with an uppercut.
Karter fails with the takedown.
Turcotte lands a nice hook to Karter's body. Karter takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Karter lands a nice shot that snaps Turcotte's head back.
Karter takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Turcotte ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Karter moves away.
Karter lands with a nice body punch.
Jacques Turcotte seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Karter ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Turcotte bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Karter connects with a combination that backs up Turcotte into the cage. Karter lands a flurry of punches that gets past Turcotte's guard. Turcotte is down and the referee has seen enough. It is all over! Karter bursts into tears - this win obviously means a huge amount to him.
