Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Klaas Jan Tijhoff!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Jonathan Paton and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tijhoff fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Case sprawls well initially but Tijhoff persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Case trying to control here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Tijhoff wants to free his trapped foot but Case is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Tijhoff missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
Tijhoff passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Case!
Case wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Tijhoff.
Tijhoff goes for an armbar but Case turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Case.
Case trying to control but Tijhoff is working from the bottom.
Tijhoff has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Case content to stall in guard here.
Tijhoff had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Case defends it easily.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Tijhoff pushes a forearm under Case's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Case is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Klaas Jan Tijhoff!
