Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Deanthony Pederson (ranked 603 p4p, 927 weight class) and Lloyd Blue (ranked 74 p4p, 122 weight class). Blue is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by HonestKey- When I Wake Up. Lloyd Blue is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Deanthony Pederson!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Lloyd Blue!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Elvis Blanc and Yves DeLean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pederson pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Blue. Pederson shrugs it off though.
Blue lands with a kick to the temple. Pederson shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Blue's coach down at Triumph Over Fear was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Blue's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Blue darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Pederson lands a nice looking body shot.
Pederson shoots in for a takedown but Blue shows good takedown defense.
A slow jab from Pederson misses its intended target.
Pederson lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Pederson looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Blue throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Pederson appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Blue connects with a looping right hand.
Pederson misses with a wild body shot.
Pederson misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Blue.
Pederson throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Pederson misses with a wild body shot.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Blue uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Pederson.

Blue swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Pederson on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Pederson lands with a nice body punch.
A looping hook to the body misses from Pederson. Blue does a little dance to reset his feet.
Blue throws a looping overhand right but Pederson ducks down to avoid it.

Pederson shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Blue is trying to defend but Pederson finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Pederson throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Pederson is working for a submission of some sort.
Pederson working Blue over with strikes.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Pederson is controlling the pace.
Blue is staying active underneath Pederson, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Blue really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Pederson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Blue is concentrating on defense, preventing Pederson from advancing position.

Pederson is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Blue defends it well.
Blue has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Pederson is working away from the top position though.

Pederson wants to free his trapped foot but Blue is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Pederson wants to work for an arm triangle but Blue is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Pederson stops Blue from getting back to his feet.

Blue is trying to get back to full guard.
Blue wants to control but Pederson is keeping busy and won't allow it.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Blue uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Pederson.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Pederson misses with a body shot.

Pederson was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Blue motions for Pederson to come forward. Blue throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Pederson throws a shot from downtown. Blue moves away and avoids it.
Pederson connects with the punch.
Blue finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Pederson attempts a counter takedown but Blue avoids it well and moves away.
Blue lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Pederson circles away quickly and effectively.
Blue throws a body shot but no joy.
Pederson dips to his left and cracks Blue with an uppercut!
Blue steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Pederson.
Blue scores with a kick to the midsection.
Pederson tests Blue's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Lloyd Blue is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Pederson checks a leg kick.
Pederson attempts a counter takedown but Blue avoids it well and moves away.
Good work by Pederson as he checks the leg kick.
Blue is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Pederson.
A head kick by Blue misses

and Pederson counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Pederson trying to pass the guard but Blue defending well.

Pederson looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Pederson is trying for a kimura here. Blue looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Pederson wins by kimura!

Deanthony Pederson bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
